In order to further promote the requirements of Beijing TaiGeek®️ Technology Co.,Ltd. for the development of next-generation digital microscopy instruments and extended applications, the company officially hired Dr. Pietro Ferraro as the chief scientific consultant. The two parties will jointly promote the development of a new generation of three-dimensional structural imaging technology, closely following the Belt and Road strategy, integrating the wisdom of China and Italy, to contribute to the development of science and technology.
Pietro Ferraro, who obtained his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Federico II in Naples, Italy in 1987, has been devoted to the research of optics and photonics. He is a leader in applied physics, including optics and photonics, materials and nanotechnology, optofluidics and biophotonics. He has authored or coauthored more than 320 articles in peer-reviewed journals and more than 200 conference papers.
Dr. Ferraro cooperated with Beijing TaiGeek®️ Technology Co.,Ltd. to jointly carry out the research and development of digital holographic microscope, and launched the first generation of products-Titan in the second half of 2019. The development of product is led by Beijing TaiGeek®️ Technology Co.,Ltd., based on the detection requirements of aerospace special devices, utilizing digital holography technology, it realizes nano-scale non-contact, non-destructive three-dimensional measurement of device surface defects and strain. In the future work, Dr. Ferraro will provide technical guidance and personnel training for Beijing TaiGeek®️ Technology Co.,Ltd., and a new channel for diverse innovation cooperation with Beijing TaiGeek®️ Technology Co.,Ltd., a representative of Chinese high-tech enterprises.
